Heyya everyone! How are you all doing? As you all know Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and my dear friend, Hannah Teej has just launched her new shop on Etsy named, The Lemon Hive. With that, she gracefully answered some of my questions about her adorable shop and not only that, she even hinted me on a giveaway for you guys! Read on to find out more.

Give a little introduction for our readers, Teej.

“Hi everyone, I’m Hannah from The Lemon Hive, also known as Teej. I started The Lemon Hive because one day I woke up and realized that I wanted to be happy, to start noticing the little delights and joys that make up my day. I went through a really unhappy phase of my life and realized that the best way to start being positive is to have a positive outlook. I started learning, taking pictures, documenting the things that make me smile. I looked at my skills, my experiences and my life, and decided to come up with a direction, goals and challenges, because no one else was going to do that for me.

What is The Lemon Hive?
………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Well, it’s a place where we make small things exciting and relish in those big events. It’s where we take pleasure in dipping your hand into a bag of lentils for the tactile feeling, and we giggle when we stick an ice cream cone on our partner’s nose. I am convinced that everyone has creative potential, and I set up this business so that could find support, whether it be creative counselling, long term personal development and goal setting or more everyday support like social media management and design planning and implementation. The Lemon Hive has and will continue to develop all sorts of services.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Where did the concept come from?
………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
The Lemon Hive developed as a completely different idea. I was planning on working from a different angle, and I had these nagging doubts in my mind. I realized then that everyone has those doubts. We are our own best critics and worst enemies, and sometimes you just need someone to say ‘this is going to be ok, and with enough determination you can aim towards your goal” and, better yet, “if it doesn’t turn out the way you expect, sit, pick up the pieces and make it into something even more fabulous!”. I have a background in Psychology and Mental Health and making the change was wrought with anxiety and frustration but that’s what I did, I picked up the pieces and built something fabulous that works for me.

How does everyone get involved?
………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Contact me. I answer all e-mails, tweets and FB messages as soon as I can. Interact! Talk! Chat! Send me suggestions and e-mails. Sponsor me! At the moment I’m doing a sponsor exchange through passion fruit, so have a look at the website and see how you could advertise for free with me. This is a limited time offer.

What’s with the giveaway?
………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Well, come across to my blog, leave a comment on my post here (http://www.thelemonhive.com/2013/02/the-lemon-hives-first-giveaway.html) or in this blog, which card you love on our Etsy site. I will draw one winner who gets to bag a sugary sweet handmade cupcake card. This is open worldwide and until the 7th of February, 2013. Just in time for Valentine’s Day.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
BONUS: If you feel like keeping your card anonymous, let me know, and I’ll write it up for you and make the envelope all fancy-schmancy.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Before you go Teej, tell us one little secret about yourself?
………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Ha! Ok, before I go, I’ll tell you my secret pleasure. It’s really weird. I like sharing chocolate. Ok, so I love chocolate – A LOT! But I love sharing chocolate moments with friends and family. My partner dislikes chocolate (he’s obviously weird) so, if you like chocolate definitely stop by my site. I am off to England soon, so no doubt there will be a British chocolate give away coming up shortly.

Thanks for having me over Stephy!
